Initial Visit
- $150 for first visit plus cost of RFO nutritional products
- Nurse will record weight, height, blood pressure, and pulse
- Phlebotomist will draw a blood specimen for blood chemistries
- Medical Technician will record the electrocardiogram (EKG) and bioelectrical impedance (BIA)
- Physician will review of medical history, current medications, perform a physical examination, and prescribe desired diet regimen and necessary medications
- Dietitian will provide a program orientation and fine tune the patient's diet regimen
- Patients are monitored very closely, it is very important and essential to have comprehensive baseline information from which to build patient progress.
VLCD
- $295 per month plus cost of RFO nutritional products
- Nurse weekly
- Nutritional products only (NO meals)
- Potassium supplement required
- Blood draws biweekly
- EKG and BIA every 8 - 12 weeks
- At least 2 MD visits per month
- Appetite suppressant med may be prescribed
- RD visits upon request
- Weekly classes
- 400 - 1000 calories per day
MVLCD
- $295 per month plus cost of RFO nutritional products
- Nurse weekly
- Nutritional products and one meal per day
- Potassium supplement required
- Blood draws biweekly
- EKG and BIA every 8 - 12 weeks
- 1 MD visit per month
- Appetite suppressant med may be prescribed
- 2 RD visits per month
- Weekly classes
- 500 - 1000 calories per day
LCD
- $225 per month plus cost of RFO nutritional products
- Nurse weekly
- Nutritional products and one meal per day
- NO potassium supplement required
- Blood draws, EKG and BIA every 8 - 12 weeks
- 1 MD visits per month
- Appetite suppressant med may be prescribed
- At least 1 RD visit per month
- Weekly classes
- 1000 - 1500 calories per day
Maintenance
- $400 per six months
- 1 RD visit per month
- MD visits $90
- Appetite suppressant medications ONLY if previous usage in RFO
